High-end receivers just keep coming, from Onkyo this time. And as usual we're getting the full spec low-down.
The TX-NR807 and the TX-SR707 have in common: THX Select2 Plus certification (and therefore support for 7.2), 6 HDMI ins, Ethernet (supporting the webradios LastFM and vTuner), Audyssey DSX and Dolby Pro Logic Iiz decoding, a Faroudja DCDi processor for 1080p video upscaling, an optional iPod/iPhone dock with the possibility of retransmitting the video signal to the HDMI out, 3 S/P DIF optical outs and 3 coaxials. It all works with the help of Burr-Brown 192kHz/24-bit DAC (PCM1690) coupled with an Aureus DA830/DA738 from Texas Instruments.

The differences between them are in terms of power - 7x160W for the TX-SR707, 7x180W for the TX-HR807 - and multizone - two zones for the first, three for the second. There will soon be a specific module for terrestrial digital radio.
These two receivers should appear in the course of the month of August, the SR707 for around 1100 pounds and the HR807 for 1400 pounds.
