The Nokia Lumia 900 smartphone is set to go on sale in the US in March before arriving in the UK in June—which could leave it trailing the as yet unconfirmed Nokia Lumia 910 by as much as a month. That's if blogger Eldar Murtazin has got his facts right—and he usually does.
Things are looking up for Nokia: after initial success with its new Lumia 710 and Lumia 800 smartphones, the company has decided to stick with Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 mobile OS and grab a bigger share of the smartphone segment.
Russian blogger Eldar Murtazin has predicted two interesting developments. Firstly, he claims that the Lumia 900 will go on sale in the UK soon, before arriving in the rest of Europe. Secondly, and more interestingly, he also claims a new Lumia 910 handset will be launched, with a 12 Megapixel camera.
Just a few weeks before the Mobile World Congress trade show which will throw open its doors in Barcelona on February 27, these rumours are an interesting foretaste of what we might see. The event is shaping up to be a great chance for the Finnish phone giant to present its strategy for the coming months.
