Four new Full HD screens join our product survey. On the programme, three 23 inch screens and one 24 inch, response times from 2 to 5 ms. Those who don't have a TN intolerance should find something that appeals.
  • LG Flatron W2361V is a Full HD 2 ms screen with VGA, DVI and HDMI and a design reminiscent of the Samsung T series

  • Philips 230C1 is a 23 inch full HD, 2 ms, with DVI, VGA and HDMI as well as a pair of 2 x 2 watts speakers. Nice to look at and not too expensive.

  • Philips 230E1. At first sight, the Philips 230E1 is the clone of the 230C1. Both these screens are 23 inch full HD with HDMI, DVI and VGA sockets. The main difference between the two models is panel responsiveness. Philips rates the 230E1 at 5 ms and the 230C1 at 2 ms.

  • Samsung SyncMaster 2494HM stands out first of all for its build and connectivity. It has a vertically adjustable base, a pivot mode and VGA, DVI and HDMI connectors. It also comes with a 2 port USB hub, a pair of 2 x 3 watt speakers and a headphones out.

Product survey: 23 to 28 inch Full HD LCD monitors
