The majors want to make The Pirate Bay pay

The Swedish daily Dagens Nyheter claims that the majors want to make The Pirate Bay pay. The major labels are reported to have served a joint action requesting the founders of The Pirate Bay to pay a fine as long as the site remains active. Universal, EMI, Sony and Warner are reported to have requested a Stockholm court to obrain this decision, while the case against the torrent links site is waiting for judgment on its appeal.
Contacted by Agence France Presse their lawyer did not confirm or deny the story.
