Windows Seven too expensive says Dell

While Windows 7 has been universally saluted as better than Vista by the specialised press, Dell has just thrown the cat among the pigeons.

In an interview published on CNet, Darrel Ward, one of the directors of the Texan manufacturer, has said that Microsoft’s pricing policy may well be an obstacle to the adoption of the new operating system. The ogre of Redmond hasn’t yet announced the price of the different versions of Windows 7.

In 2007, the breaks were put on Vista as a result of a confusing pricing policy from the software giant.

Negotiations are currently in full swing with manufacturers as to the price of the versions of the new Windows for PC. The declaration from Dell’s product director are no doubt the result of tensions between the largest PC manufacturer and the company created by Bill Gates.
