Although it's a year older than some of its rivals, Microsoft's Xbox 360 is continuing to sell well in the US, but it's still a long way behind the Nintendo Wii.In March, 330, 000 Xbox units were delivered to stores, while Nintendo managed to ship just over 600, 000, a figure which is 18% down on the same time last year. The Playstation 3 is still in third place, with 218, 000 consoles sold in March, a 15% fall compared to March 2008.
Accoring to researchers NPD, who produced these figures, 19.7 million Wiis have been sold in America and 14.9 million Xbox 360s but only 7.5 million PS3s.
