After Jim Van, CEO of Logicom, accidentally tweeted about the possibility of an April launch for the Palm Pre in the US, leaked documents from the Sprint netwok suggest that the launch date has slipped by a few weeks.According to several blogs, Sprint are planning to launch the handset in the US on May 17, although it won't officially be available until the end of June.
The manufacturer is said to be racing against the clock to produce enough handsets to compete with Apple's iPhone, whose new OS, version 3.0, is also set to be launched in June at the annual WWDC.
