New test: two Cooler Master CPU heatsinks

The processor cooler is one of the essential components in the quest for a silent computer. Changing it can sometimes transform that groaning four-legged monster under your desk into a PC tower that functions at moderate sound levels. Today, we add two Cooler Master models to our survey.

The first is called the Cooler Master Hyper TX2, one of the more modest heatsinks in the Cooler Master range. It is not a very high performance model but rather well pitched for its lowish price.

The second, Cooler Master V8, is quite an unusual cooler. It is not a simple model in a tower design, but rather four towers with fin arrays sandwiched around a central fan.
