On the menu today: diversity. Glossy or matt panels, TN, VA and IPS technology, general consumer and pro ranges; all in four screens! Today's four screens:
- Apple LED Cinema Display 24 inch: with its unique glossy IPS panel, this screen has been designed for the most recent MacBook users. Apple says that it wants to attract the general consumer. Might the image professionals also go for it? We were very pleasantly surprised by the test results.
- HP LP2480zx: with a PVA panel, this 24 inch screen has been designed for the pro market. By no means sure there'll be many takers!
- HP w2448hc : a nice looking 2 ms, with plenty a socket and not expensive: the best deal ?
- ViewSonic VA2626wm : a 26 inch that comes in much cheaper than most 24 inch screens, with HDMI, DVI and VGA. Not bad eh?
