You can connect a multimedia hard drive to your TV and to a set of speakers to enjoy photos, movies and music away from your computer. Some of them can even receive and record digital TV signals.
We've added four new models to our ongoing Product Survey of these increasingly popular media centers: the Emtec Movie Cube S800 features a digital tuner and can record live TV, while the MaxInPower BEMIPMP363 uses WiFi to connect to your home network--the Icy Box IB-MP3010HW can do both.
The Western Digital WD TV, finally, is a surprisingly compact and affordable model that works needs you to plug in some storage to work with its excellent decoding hardware.
