Pentax's K-m seems to be an attempt to regain lost ground in the hunt for the prize of being the smallest digital SLR on the market.

It's not quite the smallest (that crown goes to the Olympus E420), but it is an excellent dSLR that's packed with features that will help beginners out, including a detailed online Help system that can be turned off for more advanced users.

Our full test of the Pentax K-m joins our Product Survey for Digital SLRs.

Note: this camera is marketed as the K2000 in North America, but is identical to the K-m we tested.
