Little by little, we're adding new laser printers to our ongoing survey. Here are our latest arrivals … The HP Color LaserJet CP1215 is a compact little colour printer, that's quiet to operate and pretty energy-efficient.
The Lexmark E360dn is almost twice as expensive, but only prints in black-and-white. So what do you get in exchange? Well, it prints twice as fast and on both sides of the page, too.
The last laser printer we tried is a multifunction colour network printer which comes in four different versions. We tested out the X544dn, which has an automatic double-sided mode. The X544n is a more basic version with out double-sided printing. The X544dtn has an extra paper drawer with capacity of up to 900 pages, while the X544dw can join wireless networks.
