The two printers whose test results we're publishing today are the first to be scored on a new basis: how much power they use and how much noise they make while printing. We measured the power usage and noise levels on these two Dell printers, the 1235cn and the 2335dn while they were switched off, on standby, warmed up and actually printing. So are they quiet and efficient, or loud and powerful? All of the numbers are in the tests, along with videos of the printers in action so you can actually hear how much noise they make.
