Turning glossies matte: the test

At the end of July, we promised to try out some methods of turning a glossy screen into a matte one. We gave our word and here are the first results out the lab!
In the first group of procedures tested, we put 3M and Canopia filters and a semi-matte dulling spray from K-line through their paces.
The objectives
They are slightly different to those in the first news:
1) Make sure the operation costs less than replacement of the panel by a specialist
2) Conserve good brightness levels
3) Conserve as wide viewing angles as possible
4) Retain colour quality
Here are the results:
