TV Review: Panasonic Viera TX-L47WT50B
The WT50B, Panasonic's flagship LCD TV, is practically a carbon copy of the DT50, which we tested earlier this year. All that's changed are the design and remote control.

Archos 97 Titanium HD Android Tablet With 9.7" Super HD Screen
French tech firm Archos may be down but it's definitely not out, recently unveiling a new 4:3-format 9.7" Android tablet. What's more, the Archos 97 Titanium HD sports a rather interesting "Super HD" screen with an iPad-worthy definition of 2048 x 1536 pixels.
In spite of its financial woes, Archos is still fighting its corner in the touchscreen tablet market, and the freshly announced 97 Titanium HD looks like it has plenty going for it! Following on from a whole series of Archos 9.7" and/or 4:3-format tablets with IPS screens (97 cobalt, 97 carbon, etc.), this latest tablet's IPS display has been upped to "Super HD" with 2048 x 1536 pixels. The 97 Titanium HD therefore has a screen panel, an aspect ratio and a definition that are all similar to the Apple iPad. The new Archos model is even comparable in weight to the iPad, at 640 grammes, and it's just 9 mm thick.
The 97 Titanium HD runs on a 1.6 GHz dual-core processor, which is likely to be a Rockchip RK3070, as Archos has already used this supplier in previous products. There's 1 GB of RAM, a Mali 400 MP4 quad-core GPU, an 8 GB internal memory and a micro USB port. Plus, a microSD card slot means you can boost storage by up to 32 GB. The tablet has a 5-Megapixel rear-facing camera and a 2-Megapixel front-facing webcam.
The 97 Titanium HD will run on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, and we should see Archos' usual comprehensive media player onboard too. Prices and release dates are still TBC.
