First unveiled back in May, the Samsung SMX-C10 is finally here.  It's an ultra-compact handheld camcorder that grabs attention with its titled 25° tilted lens and sleek Crystal Gloss design.

Available for a very friendly price, it films on to SD cards, but doesn't shoot HD video, with Samsung no doubt banking on the fact that standard definition will be more than acceptable for the web.

Nokia is recalling 14 million mobile phone chargers which could have a dangerous fault.  Manufactured by a Chinese sub-contractor, BYD, on behalf of the Finnish brand, the faulty chargers could produce electric shocks.

In a press release yesterday, the world's leading mobile phone manufacturer said that no incidents have yet been reported.

The following models are affected:
  • model numbers AC-3E and AC-3U, produced between 15 June and 9 August this year
  • model number AC-4U, produced between 13 April and 25 October 2009.
Nokia has launched an exchange programme to supply replacement models to any effected customers.
