Today we can bring you the first netbook equipped with the NVIDIA ION solution: the Samsung N510. Hold your breath for video and 3D capacity! The current crop of netbooks were looking very much alike, all with very similar configurations based on Intel Atom processors. This was without accounting for NVIDIA’s ION chipset that brings much-needed new blood to the netbook class.
The Samsung N510 promises a lot with its ION chipset and, overall, it doesn’t disappoint in spite of still being a bit weak on the gaming side.

US tech Gizmodo got a visit to the Microsoft Hardware labs, and made the most of their trip to the mouse department. They discovered a series of innovative prototypes, including this one that has no scroll-wheel or buttons but a multi-touch surface instead.

Looks good, doesn't it?
This mouse was just the first of the surprising selection that Microsoft's engineers were showing off. It's worth taking a look at the video, because when you see a picture of them it's hard to understand how they work. A lot of these ideas involve not just following your movements as you slide the mouse across a desktop, but detect and track the movements of your fingers.

The Panasonic GF1 is a 'compact' digital camera with a SLR sensor and interchangeable lenses. It can also film in 720p HD.
It's a lot smaller than the GH1, and more modern than the Olympus E-P1, which deliberately makes a virtue of its retro styling. Ease of use has been prioritized with a gorgeous 3'', 460 000 pixel screen, plenty of shortcuts to speed things up and a clickable scroll wheel to easily adjust various settings.
The GF1 is a very promising camera, and we're testing one in our lab as we speak. Our first photos are already in our Product Face-Off, and, obviously, our first thought was to compare it against the E-P1 ...
