Now that the IQ Routes system is included in both its One and XL ranges, TomTom has also released a model which includes the Live services that were previously reserved for its high-end GO models.What's left at the top?
After this change, there isn't much to distinguish these earlier models from the new XL Live. It might be missing a media player, an FM transmitter or a remote control, but none of these hold it back from getting you where you need to go.
Low price, but high in feautres
For just £220, TomTom has put all of its satnav knowledge into the XL Live Europe, and there are country-specific versions for even less. That means that this new model could well put an end to the most expensive GPS systems, or at least cause a serious price adjustment. In either case, we won't be complaining ...

"Better, faster, stronger" the new iPhone? The look hasn't changed, yet it is different. The iPhone 3G S is a more robust piece of kit, with better performance and speed – which is where the S (for speed) comes from – and longer battery life.
A few days of co-habitation with the 3G S and the 3G, lying unused on the table, had lost a few points in our estimation… but not all.
