The Z is back! And we've been waiting for it: the Z5500 is the successor to the Z4500, one of the best televisions from the end of 2008 and the first to offer 200 Hz.
Or, to put it another way, the Z5500 is following up an excellent performance and Sony can't afford the slightest mistake. To make sure it gets everything right, then, the new Z5500 … looks just like the Z4500: a Full HD screen, a high contrast ratio, a backlit remote and the same Motionflow 200 Hz system. It adds the latest Internet features from elsewhere in Sony's range. Will all of that be enough to replace the Z4500 in our affections? Is it really much of an improvement?
To find out, read our test of the Sony Bravia KDL-52Z5500.
