This afternoon, we're looking at two ultra-thin laptops. Together they weigh just 2.4 kg--something that a lot of laptops don't even manage on their own.To shave off the extra weight, both of them have smaller 12'' or 13'' screens.
The MSI X340 weighs 1.3 kg, measures 13'' and comes with an Intel Core 2 Solo SU3500. MSI's decisions for these three factors are key to the machine's performance.
The Toshiba Portégé R600-12N is a five-star laptop, so watch out! You get a matte screen, a 512 GB SSD hard drive and an Intel SU9400 CPU that's known for delivering great performance and being energy efficient for just over 1 kg. It sets a new standard for truly portable laptops.
