It might well be grey and cold outside, but that doesn't mean we're any less enthusiastic about bringing you top quality tests.  Today, we've got three new computer monitors, one of which comes away with our top five-star rating.

We'll start with an LG double-bill.  First up is the LG Flatron W2230S, a monitor that looks so much like a photo fame that even the manufacturer claims it as well suited as an ornament as it is a serious piece of equipment.  Next is the the Flatron W2220P, with its 6 ms e-IPS display.  That makes it a challenger to the popular Dell 2209WA, one of our favourite 22'' screens.  Be warned, the fight between the pair is likely to be tough.

Lenovo has a more traditional monitor, this time with a 5 ms TN panel.  The ThinkVision L2251X doesn't have any pretensions to being responsive, but the Chinese manufacturer's engineers have dug out some intriguing accessories to make up for that.
