Today we've added two price-friendly compact digital cameras to our selection on DigitalVersus: Canon's PowerShot E1 and Panasonic's Lumix DMC-FS3.Both of them feature optical image stabilization and are very easy to get the hang of.
Although Canon's compact looks the more innovative of the two, with its curves and metallic coloring, the E1 is still a relatively unsophisticated--if speedy--camera.
Panasonic, on the other hand, has created a stripped-down version of its successful FX37, cutting out the wide angle zoom along the way.
