Three manufacturers (Mitsubishi, Panasonic and Sony) and 4 top end Full HD videoprojectors join our survey. We wore down our retinas for this one, so as to ananlyse the images and give you a detailed breakdown. We say this in each test and we remind you again here. The image quality offered by these products is very high. Whatever the model chosen in the end, you’ll be impressed with the results. Nevertheless there are some small differences to be noted from one model to the next, above all if you compare the images in parallel as we did with an HDMI signal duplication system. Colours, video noise handling, upscaling, ergonomics… we’ve been through it all with a fine tooth comb.
We looked at the Mitsubishi HC6500 and HC5500, Panasonic PT-AE3000E and the Sony VPL-HW10. Sony is back in our tests after a long absence.
