After our look at SDHC cards, it's time for Compact Flash cards to visit our lab.  Since the last time we tested them, both speeds and capacities have increased dramatically.  In this selection, for instance, we have a 64 GB that claims to produce speeds of 600x, or 90 MB/s.  That challenge is laid done by the SanDisk Compact Flash Extreme Pro 32 GB, and we have three other hopefuls.

PNY has the Compact Flash Optima 16 GB, which it markets as the ideal companion for a professional SLR but with an affordable price tag.  Next up is the SanDisk CF Extreme III 2 GB, a card that's been around for a little while.  We finish with the Transcend Compact Flash 400x 64 GB, which comes off well compared to the others in terms of both price and performance.
