New Monitor Tests: 23'' and 24'' LCDs by Samsung, LG and Dell

Today, three new LCD monitors join our line-up, including two 23'' models and one that measures 24''.  Amongst them, one has excellent green credentials, while the other is a hybrid monitor/TV and the third is more traditional.  Nevertheless, all three show a Full HD resolution on a 5 ms panel.
  • Dell G2410: this is a monitor with fairly average tech specs, including a TN panel and VGA and DVI inputs.  Instead, Dell is hoping that it's eco-friendly design will win over consumers.
  • LG Flatron W2343T: once again, there's nothing exciting on paper, but we've still put it through its paces to see what it's really worth.
  • Samsung SyncMaster P2370HD: this third monitor is one we've been waiting for for a long time, especially after the good impression made by its predecessors in the Txxx series.  Thanks to the inclusion of an HD TV tuner, this product is both a monitor and a TV at the same time.
