All of the manufacturers have started releasing their range of notebooks for 2010.  One big change is a mass migration towards Intel's Pine Trail platform, which promises lower energy consumption and longer battery life.  Amongst the new models we're testing today, the long-awaited successor to Samsung's N140 and NC10, as well as a very interesting return from MSI.

The incredibly successful NC10 has been replaced not by one new model but again and again with several Samsung netbooks vying to take over.  Now though, our old favourite can only rely on its lower price against the new Samsung N210, which not only replaces it, but throughly trumps it in every area.

MSI, meanwhile, decided it was time to replace the Wind U100.  The MSI Wind U135 has a classy design, and a great quality screen that goes part of the way to compensate for its glossy finish.
