You've asked us for it, you've waited patiently, and now we've tested it. Still, to make up for being late--we can't do everything at once, as much as we'd like to--we've got a preview of the NEC MultiSync EA321WMi for you.
If that's left you wondering what all the excitement is about, let me explain: the EA321WMi is a 23'' monitor that uses IPS technology, meaning it has super-wide viewing angles. It comes with VGA, DVI and Display Port inputs, as well as a four-port USB hub, a rotating, height-adjustable stand and, finally, a pivot mode, allowing you to use it in portrait mode. It's no surprise that it's garnered some attention …
You'll need to wait a little longer for the finished test, but with the raw results we're publishing today, you'll be able to compare its contrast, responsiveness, energy consumption, colour handling and lots more with all of the other monitors we've tested. There's more than enough to give you a very reasonable idea of what to expect.
