The multi-player mode of Halo Reach, the last part of the Bungie saga, is now available in beta mode for the Xbox live.
The list of participants is quite vast as all that's required is to have bought Halo ODST, have a subscription to Xbox live Gold and, of course, a high speed internet connection. If you satisfy all these conditions, you can download the 1.4 GB beta and start a game.
Note that this test phase will be very short, ending on May 19. It will take place over several stages. Only the Arena (four vs four per team and classified), Free-For-All, Grab Bag and Spartan vs Elite Invasion (as of today) are currently available. Generator Defense mode will appear on May 14.
The good news for those who haven't wanted to shell out the cost of a year long Xbox live subscription is that Silver accounts will also be able to play the beta as of May 14 (if you have Halo ODST).
