MSI is continuing to tailor its product line to gamers with the GX780, a new turbo-charged laptop with a monster set of tech specs.

The GX780's tech specs are the stuff of dreams, as inside this 3.8 kg, 43 x 29 x 5.5 cm laptop, you'll find a 2 Ghz Intel Core i7-2630QM processor, an NViDIA GT 555M graphics card, up to 16 GB of RAM and a hard drive of from 640 GB to 1 TB.

MSI isn't only looking to win over gamers though, as the 17.3-inch screen and flashy design will be enough to seduce all kinds of users. The GX780 is finished almost entirely in black and the casing is made from a manganese-aluminium alloy with a stylish brushed finish that'll look smart anywhere.

There's not much this power-packed laptop won't be able to handle either. The processor is good enough to cope with all kinds of activities at lightning speed and the graphics card will breeze through all the latest games with, at worst, a lower level of graphic detail but no need to reduce resolution.

The connections look pretty good too, with three USB 2.0 ports, two USB 3.0 ports and an e-SATA connection. There's also an HDMI 1.4 output.
You can even opt for a Blu-ray drive instead of the DVD player if you're really feeling flush, or even switch the 1600×900-pixel display for a 1080p panel.

There's no word on price or availability of the MSI GX780 just yet or the exact specs of the various versions that'll be available. Needless to say, we'll update you when we know more.
