The SA3125 is a small portable audio and video player that adds to the already large GoGear line from Philips. The particularity is its smaller size.

In the beginning and out of the package, we liked the attractive design and nice finishing touches.  Unfortunately, buttons proved to be incredibly noisy.

Once we were through these initial first impressions, we loaded it with music, an operation that took too long. Transfer speeds are very mediocre and we are far from the capabilities of a USB 2.0 connection.  Next, there is the interface that we are very familiar with from the GoGear line and which is still as slow and austere.  Moreover, the screen doesn't help because it is also of poor quality: the matrix is very visible; contrast is weak and fluidity poor.  In short, you cannot watch videos or images on this portable player.

In terms of sound, there is still the same problem: it's of poor quality and background noise hampers listening pleasure.  Audio and video players in Philips GoGear line are disappointing and the SA3125 is certainly no exception!
