MP3 Player Buyer's Guide Updated

The market for portable music and video players seems to have run out of steam a bit since smartphones started gaining ground. However, some people would still rather have a separate music and/or video player—sporty types in particular.

Although we hadn't updated our MP3 player buyer's guide for the best part of a year, we haven't seen a whole lot of new products come out over the last 12 months.

However, we've tidied the buyer's guide up a bit and made a few small changes. You'll still find a budget option, an all-round multimedia player and a high-capacity music player to choose from.

What's more, while music-only players could still be around for a while, portable multimedia players seem to be morphing into touchscreen tablets ...
