Last week, our monitor reviews featured two five-star displays, the Asus VG2364H and the Dell U2211H, and today we have another two screens with excellent potential: HannsG's latest 28'' monitor, and the first 24'' from Iiyama to use LED backlighting.

We first discovered HannsG when we reviewed the HG281DJ, and now the manufacturer is back with another 28'' monitor, the HZ281.  Apart from both being the same size, both monitors have something else in common: they represent great value in terms of how much you pay per pixel.  So has HannsG managed to produce another excellent display at a decent price?

Since we started reviewing Iiyama's monitors, we've seen some excellent monitors, like the B2403WS, the B2206WS, or more recently, the B2712HDS, all of which were great.  That's why we're expecting so much from this ProLite E2472HD, the manufacturer's first screen with LED backlighting.
