White seems to be the colour of choice for smartphones these days, and releasing a white model a few months down the line is a sure-fire way of breathing new life into a handset.
Nokia has clearly understood this, as the Lumia 800—currently available in cyan, magenta and black—will soon be outed in white.
Note that there'll be no change to the tech specs in the white model, which will use the same Windows Phone 7.5 OS, 3.7-inch AMOLED screen and 1.4 GHz Qualcomm processor.
The white Lumia 800 is due for release in February and won't cost any more than its colourful counterparts.
