When it first arrived in spring, the Google Nexus One was the first Android smartphone to get version 2.1 of the house OS and also came with a solid configuration.
Since then, the competition, and most notably HTC, has begun to catch up, without consigning the Nexus One to history—especially now it's the first phone to get the new 2.2 version of Android, codenamed Froyo.
