Google Chrome
Last Tuesday, a beta version of Google's Chrome browser appeared in the Android Market for the first time-but only for devices already running Ice Cream Sandwich.

Chrome itself appeared in the Android Market, and has been available to download since Tuesday for any smartphone already running the latest version of Google's Mobile OS, Android 4.0, codenamed Ice Cream Sandwich.  That compatibility issue means that not many smartphone or tablet owners will be able to try it out just yet.

Google Chrome has been entirely redesigned for a smartphone, but also work in conjunction with the version running on your computer.  If you're logged into your Google account on both your desktop computer and your smartphone or tablet, you can start browsing on one device and pick up where you left off another, with all of your open tabs intact.  Mobile users will now be able to open an unlimited number of tabs.  Chrome will also record your most frequently visited sites to make finding them again easier.

Chrome has been missing on Android for a while, but Google is also trying to keep up with rival browsers like Opera and Firefox, both of which have had mobile versions for a while now.
