Out of this world ideas are becoming ever more plausible as new technology develops. After Samsung's out there projections, it's over to Philips and a South American designer to let imaginations run riot to come up with new adaptations of the OLED smartphone screen, the Philips Fluid.
Dinard Da Mata has come up with a novel idea for the Philips Fluid smartphone, the Brazilian designer updating the wristwatch to reinvent an object that had become almost obsolete thanks to a large part to smartphones.
This smartphone, a design by Da Mata, would be equipped with a supple OLED screen that can be wound around your wrist so as not to encumber your pockets.
As with any good smartphone, you'll be able to use it to make calls, give you the time, play video games, browse the Internet and download applications designed to put the capacities of this smartphone to best use. The digital camera seems to have been forgotten.

Philips hasn't yet given any information on the size of wrist required for this device...
