It started off as a single product, but soon the EEE by Asus turned out a whole line and became a brand of its own. One that makes technology both mini and mainly low-cost. After the mini-notebook computer, the mini desktop… soon the EEE Phone? For the moment, little is known about this ''EEE Phone'', the name revealed during the CES by Mr. Shih, chairman of ASUSTek, to the New York Times. This low-cost smart phone could act as an interactive control for screens and displays at the centre of the home digital network.
Rumour has it (on a number of American websites) that the EEE Phone's operating system could be Google’s Androïd.
