With a memory card like this, we were expecting to find a free file recovery tool included for retrieving photos or videos that have been accidentally deleted. Transcend, however, doesn't supply any such software with this memory card.
With 64 GB of storage space, this Transcend Ultimate SDXC Class 10 memory card is tailor-made for compatible HD camcorders and digital cameras. Its high capacity means it can store long films rather than just clips, or loads of high-definition photos. All that sounds great—but what about its data transfer speeds?
Good write speeds
This memory card has a write speed of 22.1 MBps, which is good, but we've seen other cards reach up to 38 MBps thanks to the new UHS-1 standard. It'll therefore take around 3 minutes to unload 4 GB of photos. The write speeds are among the fastest we've seen at 21.5 MBps, which means you can load it with 4 GB of files in just over 3 minutes.

The Transcend SDXC 64 GB has a very good write speed and is ideal for professional or expert photographers who take loads of pictures. It's just a shame that the write speed can't quite match some other cards.
