It's an Xtreamer double bill today with an up-close look at the manufacturer's two latest media centres. What changes do these new models bring and is the updated interface up to scratch? Time to find out!

The Xtreamer SideWinder is a bit like what the original Xtreamer should have been. The main differences between the two models are an upgraded decoder chip and an integrated passive cooling system.

The Xtreamer Pro is based on the original Xtreamer (2.5) and the Xtreamer SideWinder, but this Pro version has room for two 3.5-inch internal hard drives and also integrates eSATA support.

Don't forget to take a look at our media centre face-off, where you can compare and contrast all kinds of media centres on key features such as multimedia compatibility, networking speeds and power consumption.
