We heard at MWC last month in Barcelona that LG would be the first to market with a handset running Microsoft's new OS, Windows Mobile 7. Engadget hasn't just seen one--they've got it on video too. There's still no word on what the new phone will be called, but it will have a physical keyboard, a 5 Megapixel camera with flash and a standard headphone jack.
And this is what it looks like on video:
LG's people in France already told our sister site that 'we'll be the first to have a handset running Windows Phone 7 Series [in September 2010], along with perhaps one Taiwanese rival.' LG's competitors will no doubt be thrilled, given that they've all promised to bring out handsets simultaneously as soon as the OS is ready.
