It looks as if the battle for possession of 3D territory could begin earlier than expected. LG is ready and arriving 6 months ahead of schedule.Following our news on the imminent arrival of passive 3D pro screens in the UK and France, LG is now attacking the general public segment.
We have just heard from Alexandre Fourmond, marketing director at LG, that the company expects to deliver its first series of 3D 1080p TVs with active glasses in May! This is 6 months ahead of schedule! We don’t yet have any detail on these two ranges, except that their release will present an alternative to Panasonic’s 3D pack.
