Nokia's CEO Stephen Elop recently promised that the first WP7 handsets will be unveiled before the end of the year, with mass production really ramping up in 2012.
Here's a quick look at Nokia's latest prototype, which is code-named 'Sea Ray', running Windows Phone 7 Mango:
One change from the Nokia N9 is the presence of the touch-sensitive buttons under the display.
Recently, analysts IDC predicted that despite its current poor performance, especially compared to Android, Microsoft's mobile OS will end up in second place, ahead of Apple iOS but still a long way behind Google, by 2015.
