LG Slim-Bezel 27'' Passive 3D IPS Monitor Coming 2012

To whet our appetite for the CES 2012 tech show in January, LG has unveiled a 27-inch IPS-screen monitor with passive 3D and a super-slim bezel.



The monitor in question is the DM92. Its 27-inch screen probably has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (tech specs are still TBC) and the bezel surrounding the screen is just 1 mm thick around the left, right and upper edges!

More importantly, though, this is the first monitor to have an IPS screen compatible with passive 3D technology (using polarising glasses). It looks like 2012 should be a promising year for computer monitors with new technology combos like this in store!

You'll have to wait until the CES 2012 to find out more about this monitor and its tech specs. Let's hope LG releases some pricing info too, as we're keen to see how much the DM92 will cost.
