Conclusion
The W243D isn't a perfect monitor, but it can do a lot. That makes it ideal for everyday use. However, it will struggle if retouching photos is anything more than occasional task for you.
The Iiyama ProLite XB2776QS just managed to scrape its way to a five-star score! It has a great set of hardware features, colour fidelity is excellent and contrast is above average. However, there's still some room for improvement, as the screen response time is a bit too low for gamers.
The LG Flatron E2351VQ is a 23" Full HD monitor with good contrast, a nice design and a reasonable price tag. Unfortunately, the disappointing overdrive mode stops this display delivering the kind of responsiveness you'd expect from a real "2 ms" panel. It therefore can't hope for higher than a three-star score in our review.
