Windows XP

Download and install Microsoft's colour management tool, WinColor.

Download your calibration profile, and install it in the following folder:

C:\Windows\System32\Spool\Drivers\Color\

Open the Profiles window in WinColor and open the calibration you have downloaded.

To install the profile, just click on Install and select the downloaded file.

In the following window, Devices, select Displays in the scroll down menu then click on Add to add the profile corresponding to your screen.

The list of installed profiles will appear in the window Color Profiles.

Finally, click on Set as Default.  Now, if the profile is correctly applied, you should see the screen's colours should change.  To go back to your former settings, click on Remove and delete the recently installed profile.

Windows Vista

Download your calibration profile, and install it in the following folder:

C:\Windows\System32\Spool\Drivers\Color\

Next right click on the desktop, Personalized > Display settings > Advanced settings, and then the Color management tab. Click on the color management button.

Vista has a module for color management.

Check "Use my settings for this peripheral", the only box on this page.

Click on "Add", select the ICC profile and validate it for your default profile.  Click on the "Advanced" tab in Profile of this peripheral and select the installed ICC profile.  This is also the place to go if you want to go back to your default settings in case there is a problem.
