I know there are about a million iPad rumours out there at the moment so I promise I’ll be quick.Apparently, a smaller version of the iPad could be developed over the next few months with a screen size reduced from 9.7 inches down to 5 or 7 inches. This would also cut around a hundred dollars off the price tag.
According to an analyst at Digitimes who claims to have received leaked information from suppliers, this ‘iPad nano’ is currently being developed for release in early 2011.
Although this is, as yet, just a rumour, it would seem like a pretty logical move for Apple to diversify its iPad range in a similar way to its successful selection of iPods.
