Intel has recently added two models to its processor catalogue. As soon as we received them, we tested them for you! Lets see if they're worth their weight!

The first to be tested was the Intel Core i7 970, Intel's new 6-core processor, positioned just below the i7 980X. More "affordable" then?!

Next comes the Core i5 760 which is positioned just above the much-liked Core i5 750. Assuredly excellent value for money among other 4-cores out there.

Don't forget you can compare one model against another in our processor face-off. You could for example check the Core i5 760 against the AMD Phenom II X6 1090T. Finally, our performance index table gives you an overall vision of all the processors tested with a general rating for each model.
