The Intel Core i7 970 and i5 760 in the processor face-off

So yes, we do have the Intel Core i970, the new Intel 6-core. Although announced as accessible in financial terms, it starts at the very high price tag of over £650 in online shops.
In any case, we have added the results of our tests to the processor face-off. You can, for example, compare it to the Core i7 980X or see how it does against the AMD Phenom II X6 1090T (6 cores, around £250). You'll also find the results for the Core i5 760.
The tests in full will be published in the next few weeks.
