Mitsubishi was presenting its Full HD DLP 3D Projector, the HC7800, at IFA 2011.

It's over to Mitsubishi to give us a 3D projector for around the £2500 mark. This time it's not an SXRD (Sony VPL-HW30), but a DLP. We were able to see what it can do with Avatar in 3D and we were blown away! The impression of depth and detachment of objects is there for all to see and there's hardly any crosstalk. Only one scene was effected and even then only very slightly. You have to look for it hard to see it!

To crown things off, we weren't put off by any rainbow effect, to which however we are rather sensitive.

It will come in two colours, black and white, but we'll have to wait for November to see it in stores.
