Hot on the heels of the D2342, LG is expanding its range of 3D monitors with two passive 3D displays and one glasses-free 3D model: the D237IPS, DM2350D and D2000.

First up is the D237IPS. This 23-inch Full HD monitor doesn't have a TN panel, as is usually the case with 3D-compatible monitors, but instead uses IPS technology. This will improve vertical viewing angles and keep colours more consistent across the screen. Although its full tech specs, launch price and release date are as yet unknown, we do already know that the D237IPS will have an HDMI 1.4 socket for compatibility with a whole load of 3D sources (PC, 3D Blu-ray player and PlayStation 3) and that it'll have a 2D-to-3D conversion function.
Next up, the DM2350D looks quite similar to Samsung's T27A950, as this 23-inch 3D-compatible Full HD monitor not only has an HDMI 1.4 port and 2D-to-3D conversion, but also boasts a digital TV tuner and a multimedia player that can be used in conjunction with the USB port. This model is already on sale in several online stores.

Finally, for those who want to enjoy 3D without wearing glasses, LG unveiled the DX2000—a model we reported on back in July. This 20-inch LED-backlit monitor can display 3D images that you don't need any special glasses to see. Although the exact technology used is still something of a mystery, we do know that the D2000 has a webcam on top of the monitor to adjust the 3D effect in relation to the position of the user's eyes—it's therefore not a million miles from LG's Spatial View technology that the firm came to show us back in 2009. However, this system does suggest that only one user can view the 3D action at once.

Otherwise this 20-inch monitor has a 5 ms TN screen with a resolution of 1600 x 900 pixels. It has DVI and HDMI entries and—for once—a believable contrast ratio of 1000:1. It has 2D-to-3D conversion and a webcam that's perfectly suitable for video chat.
